Next Wave approached me fresh off of their new rebrand with the project of designing their event banner to match their new look. Their only request was to keep with the brand colors, and for the banner to reflect that they are a Branding, Merch, and Apparel Company.

First Drafts :
After conducting some initial research, I created four design concepts—two for the front and two for the back. Using the manufacturer's specifications and measurements, I ensured each draft accurately reflected the banner's scale and layout, giving the client a realistic preview of the final product.
Since the banner would be internally illuminated, I designed each concept with lighting in mind. The layouts, typography, and graphic elements were intentionally developed to take advantage of the backlit effect, enhancing visibility and creating a more impactful final display.

Final Designs :

After receiving feedback from the client, I revised the designs to better align with their vision. The requested changes included reshaping the back design to resemble a wave more closely and using only dark-colored text on the back for improved readability. Once the revisions were complete and approved, the final artwork was prepared and sent to the manufacturer for production.
Expanding:
After successfully using their event banner, the client returned with a new goal: expanding their branding beyond a single display into a cohesive trade show booth experience. They wanted to create a more professional and engaging presence that would stand out at events while maintaining consistency with their existing brand identity.
Working closely with the client, I developed a complete booth setup that built upon the original banner design. By extending the established visual elements across multiple display pieces, I created a unified look that strengthened their brand presence and provided a more immersive experience for event attendees.

Banner, Booth, then Branding! Oh My!
What began as two successful projects quickly evolved into an ongoing partnership. The client continued to return with new design requests, growing from three projects to five, then ten, and beyond. As our working relationship developed, they entrusted me not only with their own branding and marketing materials but also with creating designs for their clients. This level of trust allowed me to work on a diverse range of projects while consistently delivering creative solutions that met each client's unique needs.
